Strange and magical creatures hiding in rock pools has always been my thing. So I put together a little video all about one of my favourite places to go wonder-seeking — the New South Wales south coast — and the drawings/sketchbook pages inspired by such a place.

And really, finding those two octopus hiding in the rocks was one of my favourite moments – they both seemed to have really pronounced moods; one was curious and bold, and the other pulled a rock over its cave in a very obvious ‘no thanks’ to visitors. Which, of course, I can relate to.
