WESTERN LOVERS DRAWINGS

I haven’t been posting much here lately, but I wanted to share a bit more of my latest illustration suite (available for use here)… mostly because we’re heading into Valentines season, and that’s exactly what these were made for.

I had so much fun combining my favourite influences and inspirations – traditional tattoo styles, western themes (ponies!), hopeless romanticism and subdued, vintage-washed pastels… I hope you like them too.

NEW VIDEO: SKETCHBOOK TOUR

I made a new sketchbook tour video! This one is a bit different – most of my sketchbooks have lots of messy scribbles and gaps and unfinished ideas in them, but this one was used for my ‘100 days of daily drawing’ challenge, where I (mostly) finished a full illustration each day. So there’s lots of colour, finished pieces and new or different experimental styles (for me).

You can check out the full video here.

WESTERN LOVERS

I love putting together illustration suites and after working on Halloween and Christmas/festive season suites last year, I’ve realised I’m really into drawing occasion-themed illustrations.

Of course, as a hopeless romantic and heart-eyed dreamer, my favourite of the occasional themes is Valentines Day. And my logical leap in thinking about depicting all things love and devotion is: tattoos.

So I pulled together all my favourite influences into one suite: traditional tattoos, western wild hearts and plain ol’ love. And it’s available here for commercial and personal use.

DRAW WITH ME: AT THE CREEK

I’ve finally organised a new video! This one is a quick visit to one of my favourite places in the world — the freshwater creek on the edge of my family farm.

If you like peaceful sketchbook scribbles and a little bit of story time, this ones for you – check it out and subscribe if you want to see more videos!

As always, thank you so much for taking an interest in my strange and magical creative world…
